N.C. Jayaram, a member of Makonahalli Primary Agricultural Cooperative Association, Mudigere Taluk, Chikmagalur District, successfully underwent right knee replacement surgery (Total Knee Replacement) under the Yashaswini Scheme at Benaka Health Center, Ujire on March 14, 2024. The Yashaswini Scheme, provided by the government for farmers, has proven to be a great support for rural communities. The surgery was performed by a skilled medical team, including renowned orthopedic specialist Dr. Vikram Shetty from Mangalore, bone and joint specialist Dr. Rajat from Benaka Hospital, and Medical Director Dr. Gopalakrishna.
