Sri Swamiji inaugurated the Philips Affiniti-70 ultrasound service, which features state-of-the-art imaging technology, by lighting the ceremonial lamp at Benaka Hospital, Ujire. Speaking on the occasion, he emphasized the importance of accurate diagnosis in healthcare and congratulated the hospital for introducing this advanced service, calling it a significant contribution to Belthangady Taluk. A renowned radiologist attended the event as the chief guest. The new ultrasound technology was highlighted as versatile, affordable, easy to use, and highly effective for accurate diagnosis. This marks the first time such an advanced service has been made available in Belthangady Taluk, which was acknowledged as a major step forward for the region’s healthcare sector. Dr. Gopalakrishna, the Chief Medical Officer of Benaka Hospital, presided over the event. He explained that this cutting-edge imaging technology enables precise detection of abnormalities in organs and body structures, significantly improving patient care.
